What is the Scary Train?

It’s a ScaryTrain ride and more nerve rattling, heart pumping, exciting experiences including woods trails, haunted houses, and other mazes of frights! Experience 7 Attractions and more at Kirby Farm on weekend nights in October! 2025 will be our BIGGEST season ever!

2025 Attractions~

1) ScaryTrain:

All aboard for a journey into the haunted past...
Ride the rails through time on our historic 1800s locomotive and open-air passenger coaches. Conductor Clydeen is your guide, sharing chilling tales of life and death along the tracks. Pass by ghostly boxcars and hear dark stories from the traveling circus as you roll past the iconic Circus Train. Then, venture deep into the Florida wilderness, where Clydeen reveals the legend of the woods. Are they alive? What’s watching from the shadows?

Intensity Level: Mild–Moderate. Even the most timid riders end up loving this eerie, immersive ride—where history and hauntings come together for a spine-tingling storytelling experience.

2) Clown Woods:

Enter if you dare—because the Clowns are everywhere.
Lurking behind trees, crawling through the shadows, and waiting around every corner... this twisted trail through the woods hides their secret compound, and once you're in, there's no easy way out. These clowns are so deranged, they don’t even trust each other—so just imagine how they’ll treat an uninvited guest like you.

Intensity Level: Wild. Every year, this trail breaks people. We’ve seen it happen—grown adults losing their minds... and sometimes their bladders. You've been warned.

3) Trailer Park:

Step into the World-Famous "Trailer Park"—but don’t expect a warm welcome.
Rowdy Reba and her unruly crew are waiting, and they’re not too friendly with strangers. Tenants disappear as fast as they arrive... so who—or what—might be living next door this year? Twist and turn your way through a maze of rundown trailers, rusted buses, creepy motor homes, and more. You’re not just visiting—you’re trespassing. Intensity Level: Wild. A chaotic, high-energy haunt packed with unexpected scares and outrageous characters. Another wild ride through the Trailer Park awaits!

4) Rat Attack:

What could possibly go wrong in a swampy forest, a ghost town straight out of the Wild West, and a pitch-black cave?
Plenty. Especially when the place is crawling with critters. Stick to the path—if you can find it—and whatever you do, watch out for the rats. They're hungry... and they're everywhere.

Intensity Level: Wild. This one’s not for the faint of heart. Seriously—leave the kids at home unless you want them having rat-themed nightmares for the rest of their lives.

5) Hearse Hunt-ReVamped:

The undead are still out for blood—only this time, it's the Vampires who’ve taken over.
The funeral cars are stacked high, the maze is darker than ever, and the twists and turns just keep coming. You’ll wind your way through dozens of eerie funeral coaches, desperately trying to find the exit… before something finds you. Will it be the Vampires... or what's left of the Zombies still prowling in the shadows?

Intensity Level: Mild to Wild. It all depends on who—or what—finds you first.

6) New Haunt Experience: Sorry, it is just too soon to give you any hints on this new attraction for 2025! We can tell you that we are EXCITED!

7Bonus Haunt-Danowski's Dungeon:

In memory of our beloved Tim Danowski, this mini-haunt is a tribute to the golden days of trick-or-treating.
Step back in time to the kind of Halloween night you never forgot—the one house on the block that went all out. Everything you’ll see inside comes from Tim’s personal collection of home haunt decorations, lovingly brought back to life in a classic garage haunt experience. Just like when you were a kid, you won’t just walk up and ring the doorbell—you’ll have to make your way through the garage first.

Intensity Level: Moderate. If you were brave enough to face that one over-the-top family haunt in your neighborhood every year... you’ll feel right at home.

8) Live Shows: Stay tuned for Brand new live shows for 2025! Yes, it is included with your admission!  LIVE on the main stage in front of the Train station. Times as shown as shown.

Kirby Family Farm is open year around offering its outreach programs and educational experiences. Like many other educational facilities and museums, periodically during the year the organization invites supporters to come out for themed events as our way to say Thank you, educate, and raise awareness about the programs and mission of Kirby Family Farm.

We take the opportunity of these themed events one step further and use them as a teaching and practice tool that enables the teens and young people we work with to interact with strangers in supervised settings. They help the youth to utilize and share their knowledge of our exhibits. We witness the results greatly help to develop life skills that will benefit them in the workforce and daily communication with others in common society settings.

The youth and all the volunteers are passionate and dedicated to offering an experience you can remember!

These events benefit the programs and development of Kirby Family Farm. Kirby Family Farm is a 501c3 educational facility working with at-risk and special needs children. Last year thousands children visited the farm through various programs and events at no cost, thanks in part to great folks like you who believe in the mission of Kirby Family Farm. So come out in support with your family and having a great time!
